011Where’s our White Christmas?
posted by Jeff on December 22nd, 2006
Here we are, just a few days before Christmas, and the ground is still cold, wet and mushy. I’m not sure how you like your winters, but I like mine with lots of snow and the fun that goes with it.Â
Sure, we could be doing some limited installations right now, but conditions really aren’t optimal for durable hardscape installations across Wisconsin’s Fox Valley right now. Pockets of frozen soil could make uniform compaction an issue, potentially putting project quality at risk.
We’d prefer to be taking our families to one of the local parks and sledding down the toboggan runs, having snowball fights, or cross-country skiing.
But instead we have cold slop. Let’s cross our fingers and hope for cooler temps with our precipitation, so that Mom Nature will give us a white Christmas.
To the families of all of our clients, I wish you a wonderful Christmas. May your stockings and guest bedrooms be full, and may your midnight mass be short. ![]()
